About this book
Will Stanton, the youngest of the Old Ones who guard the world against the Dark, is sent to stay with relatives in Wales to recover from an illness that has taken away his memory of his quest. He is supposed to find a golden harp which will wake the six Sleepers.
He meets Bran, a lonely albino boy with a dog named Cafall, who helps him on the search. They are opposed by the Grey King, a Lord of the Dark who lives in the mountains, and by a hostile farmer who blames Bran's dog for killing sheep. The fourth book of The Dark Is Rising sequence.
