About this book
With Kiethland restored to a precarious peace, Taen Dreamweaver and Jaric, the last heir of Ivain Firelord, have thwarted the first attempt of the demons to wipe out humanity. The Keys that keep the Mharg-demons bound are in Jaric's care, but he would rather give them back to their maker, the Stormwarden Anskiere.
Anskiere is still trapped in his prison of ice, and his release depends on Jaric mastering the Cycle of Fire, the sorcerous trial that drove his father mad. Taen's brother Emien has fallen to the demons. The second book of Janny Wurts's Cycle of Fire.
