Inkspell

A year after the events of Inkheart, Dustfinger is desperate to go back to the Inkworld, the world of the book, and his apprentice Farid finds a crooked storyteller who agrees to send them home. But he betrays them, and the book falls into the hands of Basta.

Meggie finds a way to read herself into the story, an act thought impossible, and her father Mo and her mother Resa, along with their captors, are sent in with her. In the Inkworld, rival princes and rebels fight for control, and Meggie, Farid and the writer Fenoglio must try to put things right. The second book in Cornelia Funke's Inkheart trilogy.
